Beef jerky drying 4hrs. Have to leave for the night. What do I do w/it?

It is not done yet. Maybe a little more then 1/2way done.....I have to unexpectedly leave for the night, and I have no timer. Can I just leave it out for the night for about 7hrs, until I get back or should I put it in the refrigerator?
