Urgent help: Microsoft Word?

This mornig I went on the santa tracker site to show some kids I baby sit. Well it had a problem with an add on. Tried other sites, errors formed all over the place. Saving my word pads with important things on them, and one file would not save. I named it a D name (D directory was full) What the hel. Tried a word begining with a W. W directory was full it said. Saved it on micorosft word, same things and would not print suddenly. So I managed to save it by the first word of the text and restarted. When the computer came up the original word pad file was empty. Not only tha but microsoft word now says it can not locate the shortcut. I can't find Microsoft Word!
