A trick change to my trade?

Ever since a started writing poetry (maybe 3 years ago, I barely know what day it is) I have consciously or otherwise avoided sensual references, hint, imagery, or at all or things that could be interpreted as gay. I was listening to The Smiths the other day, specifically "Reel Around the Fountain", I decided that this was incredibly stupid. is natural, ity is natural, and avoiding them is a loss for effect and strength. therefore from now on i'll quit avoiding it and write as It comes to me. Maybe touch it up later for flow. What do you guys think, any thoughts, maybe someone with more experience can comment on this.
