Is my cat going thru puberty or he is epileptic?!?

hello, i always loved cats so i ended up having 2 of them. 1 is almost 3 years old now, i took him from indoor litter. and the other one just kept following me around on the street so i just had to take him to the house. it was few months before, i did the basic cleaning (got rid of vermin, basic vaccines, cleaning, bugs free, etc). but now he has reached the puberty age. i remember having cats since i was little, but these 2 are my first ones i am taking care of myself. now i've been thru this hellish period with my older cat, before he got castrated, but i really don't recall this spooky thing that happens to this one. basically he starts to shake, the saliva drops from his mouth, his eyes become very wide as he was in shock and he starts to walk on to his side. at first i thought he just had a bad dream (cause this thing happens only when he is sleeping) but today i tried to calm his down, but during this attack he cant even control himself! he just felt on his back and kept shaking. this lasts for about 10 seconds, then he gets control over his body, yell for few seconds and then goes back to normal. i also noticed that my adult cat tries to avoid him lately. this was his 4th attack in 2 days and i am freaking out cause i am at home with extremely high fever myself so i can;t go anywhere + the weekend is coming up so i will be able to see the veterinarian only on monday. please tell me is he epileptic or this is a very weird symptom of the puberty. and what can i do to help him until monday?
