Is the an accurate amount of money for a horse for a year?

Goodness, I wished it was that cheap. My horse comes to about 6,000 USD a year, that includes, feed, tack, grooming, vet, farrier,board. Depending on the board, the type of feed and other expenses, people can easily spend at 5 grand a year on horses, and some tend to spend over 12 grand. Depends on the owner and the horse.
