Why does my area where my wisdom was hurt?

about 2 weeks ago i had my wisdem and the tooth next to it pulled because they was rotten and exruciatingly painful.right after he pulled it they quit hurting till today.Its weird because i cant pinpoint the pain but i know it hurts bad.
